     Judy Moody is a series of books for children, written by Megan McDonald. These books tell the funny adventures of Judy Moody who is a girl in search of fun constantly, who lives with her particular family in a city of Virginia. 


    Judy Moody was in a Mood is one of the books of the series Judy Moody. When school starts, Judy Moody is not all that excited. In fact, she's in a bad mood just thinking about it. But when her teacher assigns each of the students to make a collage about themselves, she thinks this could be pretty interesting. While she is collecting photos and things to tell who she is, the book tells the adventures that Judy is living until the day to deliver her collage. 

    One of Judy's funniest adventures is the episode called "The Funniest Thing Ever". In this episode Judy was upset by the weather, since it was a rainy day and she had to go to school while her little brother was traveling with his classmates to visit the president's house. Judy went with her friends to a magic shop. They bought strange things like fireballs and a human hand. 

   Judy was upset because she wanted to go to the president's house so Judy borrowed the hand that they had bought, and she decided to make a joke to his brother. Judy ran around her house, looking for the perfect place to put the human hand of rubber and scare her brother. 

    Then she put the rubber hand in the toilet and went to meet her brother. Her brother came home telling everything he had seen, but when he went to the bathroom when he entered, he saw the hand and ran away, shouting “Hey! Dad! Mom! There’s somebody in the toilet!” Judy and her friends fell on the floor laughing. 

    All the adventures of Judy Moody are very entertaining. These books remind experiences and childhood games. This book can be recommended not only for children but also for adults who like to read funny stories.

   The dictionary is an important instrument for understanding reading texts. It is usually used to find out the meaning of a word but there are more uses. When you read an information in a foreign language, you use the dictionary to know the meaning of unknown words. use dictionary to check spelling therefore with a good dictionary you can improve the correct spelling of the words, as well as know the form of the regular and irregular verbs and the plural words. 

  The dictionaries with phonetic transcriptions help to know the pronunciation and also the accentuation of the words. In addition, it allows you to learn to recognize the parts of the sentence or speech. For instance, a dictionary indicates whether the word is commonly used as a noun, pronoun, verb (transitive and intransitive), adjective, adverb, conjunction or preposition. However, to know which of the above categories a word belongs to, you must analyze the actual context of the sentence where it is found. 

   Some useful suggestions for the effective use of the dictionary are: remember that in a dictionary the words are organized alphabetically and it is necessary to know the correct order of the letters of the alphabet. Also know that at the top of the pages of the dictionaries are highlighted the words guide that help to locate the words. 

    In conclusion, without the use of the dictionary can generate many misspellings and loss of coherence of the writings. For example: the dictionary of the Royal Spanish Academy is the highest authority in terms of the Spanish language. It contains all the officially accepted words, their correct writing, etymology, separation of syllables, contextual uses and official meaning. It is used for any formal high-grade publication, whether for official documents or even entertainment books.
